What is UPSSSC Recruitment and why is it so important?
According to Wikipedia, the UPSSSC (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission) is the state organization authorized to conduct the various examination for appointments to the various posts. It conducts various Sarkari Exams in Uttar Pradesh and constituted under the provision of U.P. Subordinate Services Selection Commission Act, 2014.
History of UPSSSC Recruitment
It came into highlight in November, 1988 as the UPSSSC board. The headquarter is in Lucknow. There is only one chairperson that is headed and gets advised from other 8 members.
There is a new update in UPSSSC recruitment that the negative marking will be 50%.
CB Paliwal said that negative marking in the examination will be 50 percent. Marks of One correct answer points will be deducted if two questions are wrong. Final examination scheme has been uploaded on the website www.upsssc.gov.in.
While making major changes in the examination of the Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSC), the minus marking system has been implemented. At present, it will be implemented in the recruitment of the post of Exercise Trainer and Regional Youth Welfare and Regional Development Team Officer. In the future all the examinations of subordinate are ready to implement it.
Commission Chairman CB Paliwal said that the examination scheme has been provisionally released for the candidates. It has been sent to the government for consensus. Once agreed, it will be considered final.
1.5 lakh registrations for the 694 posts
About 1.5 lakh registrations have been made for 694 posts of both the recruitments till Saturday. Nearly one lakh candidates have deposited the fees. By April 19, the fee can be submitted till April 23.
Exam in one shift and 200 questions will be asked
Now, there will be examinations in one shift. The paper will be of two hours. There will be 200 questions in the examination. Every question will be of 2 numbers. That is, the written examination will be of 400 marks.
Two questions wrong then a correct answer will be scored
CB Paliwal said that negative marking in the examination will be 50 percent. Meaning, the correct answer points will be deducted if two questions are wrong. The provisional examination scheme has been uploaded to our Government job website.
The four parts will be:
- Part One- General Trial
- Part two-Common sense
- Part III- General Science and Math Mathematics
- Part four- General Hindi (50-50 questions will be asked in each section)
Tips to clear the UPSSSC exam:
- Start your preparation before it gets too late.
- You can also prepare at home with the books and online study material.
- Make a time table and prioritize everything accordingly.
- Don’t just focus on your study hours but also to the quality of learning new things. Try to break study hours after every 2 hours.
- Prepare short notes that are better than going through the whole books all the time.
